Which Region do you live in Bangkok?

If you live in Bangkok, you might have heard that Bangkok is divided into 3 main regions based on the location of each district. If you are not sure which region you actually live, here is the list of all 50 districts with its region (the data is from a Pantip forum).
1) Inner City (เขตชั้นใน - blue) including 21 districts: PHRA NAKHON (พระนคร), POM PRAP SATTRU PHAI (ป้อมปราบศัตรูพ่าย), SAMPHANTHAWONG (สัมพันธวงศ์), PATHUM WAN (ปทุมวัน), BANG RAK (บางรัก), YAN NAWA (ยานนาวา), SATHON (สาทร), BANG KHO LAEM (บางคอแหลม), DUSIT (ดุสิต), BANG SUE (บางซื่อ), PHAYA THAI (พญาไท), RATCHATHEWI (ราชเทวี), ห้วยขวาง (HUAI KHWANG), KHLONG TOEI (คลองเตย), CHATUCHAK (จตุจักร), ธนบุรี (THON BURI), KHLONG SAN (คลองสาน), BANGKOK NOI (บางกอกน้อย), BANGKOK YAI (บางกอกใหญ่), DIN DAENG (ดินแดง), WATTHANA (วัฒนา).

2) Urban Fringe (เขตชั้นกลางหรือเขตต่อเมือง - green) including 18 districts: PHRA KHANONG (พระโขนง), PRAWET (ประเวศ), BANG KHEN (บางเขน), BANG KAPI (บางกะปิ), LAT PHRAO (ลาดพร้าว), BUENG KUM (บึงกุ่ม), BANG PHLAT (บางพลัด), PHASI CHAROEN (ภาษีเจริญ), CHOM THONG (จอมทอง), RAT BURANA (ราษฎร์บูรณะ), SUAN LUANG (สวนหลวง), BANG NA (บางนา), THUNG KHRU (ทุ่งครุ), BANG KHAE(บางแค), WANG THONG LANG (วังทองหลาง), KHAN NA YAO (คันนายาว), SAPHAN SUNG (สะพานสูง), SAI MAI(สายไหม).

3) Suburb (เขตชานเมือง - orange) including the rest of 11 districts: MIN BURI (มีนบุรี), DON MUEANG (ดอนเมือง), NONG CHOK (หนองจอก), LAT KRABANG (ลาดกระบัง), TALING CHAN (ตลิ่งชัน), NONG KHAEM (หนองแขม), BANG KHUN THIAN (บางขุนเทียน), LAK SI(หลักสี่), KHLONG SAM WA (คลองสามวา), BANG BON (บางบอน), THAWI WATTHANA (ทวีวัฒนา).

According to the article, named "Bangkok: a forever lone city in Thailand," published by Mahidol University, the Inner City is the first location of people who started to live in Bangkok, including national administration buildings, schools, shopping malls and mostly have high population density. Whereas, the Urban Fringe is the area where there is a continuity of development both residential and commercial areas. The location is within 10-20 km from the center of the city. Lastly, Suburb is the furthest part of Bangkok with much less developed areas compared to the first two regions. Most areas are unoccupied or for agriculture. This region is the mix between the urban of Bangkok and the rural area surrounding Bangkok. Therefore, Bangkok has a clear distinction between these three regions. But as the city is developed, more areas will be occupied and the distinction between these three regions might not be as obvious as it is now.

Feel free to leave any comments or questions regarding this idea of different regions and how we separate them, or you might not think that your own distinct should be in this particular region and might fit better with other regions.
