| Eiffel Tower–one of the most iconic structures in the world |
I want to start my story about Paris with one of the most iconic structures in the world, the Eiffel Tower. Once I have some free time after settling down, I decided to walk to the Eiffel tower to be able to see the tower from different views. Some people might think that it is just a tower that happened to be famous but, personally, I always think that I want to see the Eiffel Tower from different angles and took great photos of it. Even though I still have no little knowledge about the tower itself, it still made me excited every time I came to see it. One of the reasons for this might be from a story when I was in middle school.
When I was in a middle school, I remembered vividly that my art teacher assigned me to draw anything on a big piece of paper, maybe A3 (which is twice the size of A4 paper). Drawing anything could easily be the most difficult assignment when you are eleven or twelve since you have no idea where to start. I remember perfectly that I googled an image of the Eiffel Tower to draw since I thought it was something that everyone could recognize and understand easily. I found a photo of the Eiffel tower with some huge square tiles while the whole photo is in a blue filter. I really liked the photo so I spent the next 2-3 hours finishing my drawing of the class. I was pretty proud of my drawing after my mom gave me a compliment. Several years afterward, I came to Paris for the first time during my 11th grade. I got to see the Eiffel tower but I could not find the same tiles that I remembered from my drawing. So, I always have a personal goal to visit Paris again in order to find that exact spot from my drawing and take a photo of the Eiffel tower from there.

After looking at lots of photos of Eiffel tower before coming to Paris for the second time, I learned that the spot that I am looking for is on the top of Palais de Chaillot which is right across the Seine river from the tower. So for this time, I made sure that I came to Palais de Chaillot first just to take the photo that I always want to take for a long time. And that photo is the one below with huge square tiles just like what I remembered nine years ago.

However, I would not say that my mission in Paris is accomplished since there are many more places that I would like to spend more time on such as the Louvre Museum and several places that I want to visit for the first time like Palace of Versailles. My adventure in Paris is just starting and I am excited to see what else Paris will offer me while I live here for the next 2 months.
PS: the truth is this post is not exactly the same post of Paris since I posted about
two château before this post, but I just feel like this should be the first post since this post is about Paris and about the Eiffel tower.
